Zonnestraal heeft een betekenisvolle geschiedenis voor mensen die – al dan niet tijdelijk – een extra steunI(tje) in de rug nodig hebben. Samen met Hilverzorg, ACIC & Partners en Spoor 6 slaan we de handen ineen en geven we hier op een nieuwe manier invulling aan. Hilverzorg biedt op meerdere plekken in Hilversum een combinatie van wonen en zorg aan, waaronder aan dementerende op Zonnehoeve. ACIC & Partners is al 4 jaar actief op Zonnestraal met een begeleidingscentrum voor autistische kinderen en jongeren. Spoor 6 is een GGZ instelling die een gefaseerde aanpak bij verslavingen biedt.
De initiatiefnemers geven mensen die te maken hebben met een extra uitdaging de mogelijkheid om hun leven (opnieuw) betekenis te geven. Vaak kunnen ze in meer of mindere mate zelfstandig leven, maar(nog) niet zonder dat steuntje in de rug.
De weg naar herstel en zelfstandigheid is gebaat bij rust en veiligheid. Ook sociaal contact, in beweging zijn, de natuur en ruimte voor zingeving zijn belangrijk.

WE FOCUS ON CONTEMPORARY AND HISTORICALLY INFORMED MUSIC
Contemporary music is free from preconceptions about how it should be played, allowing for diverse interpretations. We explore modern repertoire, focusing on its structure and origins. With your knowledge, technique, and experience, you seek ways to imbue the music with freshness and vitality.
Historically informed music (17th and 18th century). Understanding the origins of music provides valuable insights into your current playing. We delve into details that have been lost over time. You will find that these new insights revive old pieces and enrich new music.
If you are interested we offer the opportunity for a first encounter with the baroque cello, bow and gut strings. You can also play with harpsichord.
YOU CAN BRING YOUR OWN REPERTOIRE
With or without piano or harpsichord
At all Monasteries you havethe opportunity to play repertoire of your own choice with piano. At some Monasteries you also have the opportunity to play with harpsichord.
